+**Status:** Pending
+**Goal:** Find and compare self-hosted Git alternatives to Gitea
+**Approach:** 
+- Search for "self-hosted git platforms 2025"
+- Compare: GitLab CE, Gitea, Forgejo, SourceHut, etc.
+- Evaluate: Resource usage, features, maintenance burden
+
